Pheasant Club Update

There has been a lot of action at the club on the last weekend and I attribute that to the lack of success in duck hunting. We still have good cover available due to the lack of rain and the fact that the geese have not been around to tear up the rice stubble. Most of the season members have filled their cards and some has purchased additional birds because the hunting has been so good. The pheasant season ended for the Zone A clubs on February 3, 2002. The birds have been in good shape this year and were still flying hard on the flush. The dry weather keeps the pheasants in good condition for release in the field. In the last two weekends of hunting the action was fast and furious with members hammering limits.
The Gipson Family from Red Bluff California hunts together, and on this hunt everybody got some action!
Members are reminded that the balance on duck blinds is due in the office by September 15, 2006.
